Vittorio Veneto, Treviso, Italy. The deep province in our country is not an usual location for a festival based on experimental music and art, but Three Days Of Struggle, of course, is an unusual festival. The first event was organized in October to inaugurate the new Codalunga space, an industrial architecture in the city center, and featured, among others, Arto Lindasy, a legend of tropical music. This time the festival will take place between December 24 and December 26, so if Christmas with your folks is not for you, we strongly suggest you to take a trip to Vittorio Veneto. Why? The reason after the jump.

Black Atlantic is an exhibition and a fanzine which travel from the spatial dimensions of the Atlantic Ocean as a crossing point of cultures and populations. Nanna Debois Buhl, Kiluanji Kia Henda, Maryam Jafri and Hank Willis Thomas focused on the ideologies connected to the birth of the European nation states, the heritage of slavery in the United States and the complex post-colonial situation in contemporary Africa.
In the background the image of the Atlantic Ocean remains a symbolic and real reminder of the circularity of cultures, of oppression and freedom.

Ahmet Öğüt’s work often borrows from the experience of everyday life, which he observes and then amplifies to expose its many contradictions. On December 17 Peep-Hole begins its exhibition program with Mind The Gap, Öğüt’s first solo presentation in Italy. All the works exhibited in this show push the viewers to question themselves about the status of things, their proposed use and the symbolic value that we assign them.

Contrary to the idea that art is aimed at the general public, Dora García (Valladolid 1965) opts for radically conceptual forms, both accessible and elegant. Her works crosse the boundary and connection between reality and fiction, projecting singularly codified messages to reality.
